Life doesn’t have to be a constant grind.
We might just be making things hrarder than they need to be. But it's not the only way.
Consider what may happen when we start paying attention to the excitement that shows up in our lives and allow it to guide us.
Procrastination is and can be a sign that something isn’t quite right, that we’re not fully aligned with what we’re doing. We can feel it in the tasks we try to force ourselves to do. Think about writing, for instance. You might be sitting at your desk, staring at the screen, but can’t seem to get anything out. You’re not in sync with the process, and it feels like you’re fighting yourself. Instead of committing harder, it may be helpful to shake things up. Maybe journaling by hand or moving to a different space brings a spark of excitement back. The task stays the same, but the energy shifts, the how brings it new life.
Excitement is a powerful feelings, it’s fuel and it energises us more than anything. When we don’t listen to it, we miss out on the very thing that could lead us to the life we’re wanting to live. By focus on finding the excitement within the everyday and the tasks we have to do, things can change. The first being the sense of more joy which makes the whole experience feel lighter and more gratifying.
You don’t need to reserve excitement for your days off when it's possible to bring it into your everyday life. Things flow more easily.
It acts like a compass. When you’re not sure of what to do next, or you feel lost, tuning into what excites you can help. It guides you to the next step, or shows you a better way to approach what you’re already doing.
Consider the how, and sometimes if necessary the what. Following those feelings will be the best guide and path you follow. It's part of your natural flow, and when you let it lead, everything aligns. Life becomes brighter, more in tune with who you really are, and you begin to see the opportunities that were always there but maybe hidden by your limiting beliefs.
Explore it, follow it, and see where it takes you.
